Normal Operations Restored for Microbus Routes That Declared Strike
The Yerevan Municipality informs that the normal operations of 10 microbus routes have been restored. It is worth recalling that drivers serving routes number 1, 12, 10, 19, 34, and several others declared a strike this morning. The reason was the demand for an increase in daily wages from the line owner.
According to a statement from the municipality, the drivers of the "Yerevan MUAT" LLC, serving the urban microbus routes 1, 10, 12, 13, 19, 21, 23, 25, 29, and 34, did not go to work on February 10 in the morning due to financial and economic issues. Based on a temporary agreement reached between the relevant divisions of the Yerevan Municipality and the company, the normal operation of the routes was restored at 11:30 AM until further clarification of the arising issues.
