Practically No Travelers Coming to Armenia from China, Torosyan
The number of travelers coming from China to Armenia is very low, and the restrictions imposed by us, including the temporary suspension of the visa liberalization regime, have contributed to the fact that we practically have no travelers from China to Armenia who could be a source of infection. This was stated today by Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan during a conversation with journalists.
“There was a discussion regarding our citizens at the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan. It was instructed to find out how many wish to return to Armenia and what support the state can provide regarding their transportation,” the minister mentioned.
He also noted that there is no issue of isolation for those arriving from China. “Anti-epidemic measures are being implemented according to internationally accepted guidelines. There is no isolation; if necessary, it will be organized, our anti-epidemic measures are very effective,” the minister said.
