Confucius Institute to Send 12,000 Medical Masks to China
The Confucius Institute will send 12,000 medical masks to China, joining humanitarian efforts initiated worldwide. There is a shortage of medical masks due to the spread of the new type of coronavirus.
During the initiative, the director of the Confucius Institute, Gor Sargsyan, mentioned that together with several associates, they plan to send masks and medical gloves to China as a form of support. “The masks and gloves will be provided to medical institutions and universities in the cities of Xi'an and Talia,” he emphasized.
After two days of donations, he wrote on his Facebook page: “We thank everyone for their support and attention. 10,000 medical masks are already on their way to our friend China. We will send an additional 2,000 units in two days.”
