Ara Babloyan and Arsen Babayan's Case Sent to Prosecutor's Office
The case involving former National Assembly President Ara Babloyan and former Deputy Chief of the National Assembly staff Arsen Babayan has undergone a second conclusion of preliminary investigation and has been sent to the prosecutor's office for the confirmation of the indictment. This was reported to 24News by the head of the public relations department, Arevik Khachatryan.
As previously reported, Ara Babloyan is accused under Article 300 and part 1 of Article 314 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia for usurping the powers of the Constitutional Court alongside a group of officials, as well as for committing official forgery. Arsen Babayan is accused under Article 38-300 and part 1 of Article 314 for assisting Ara Babloyan and other officials in usurping the powers of the Constitutional Court, as well as for committing official forgery.
