Black Ice on Roads in Shirak, Syunik, and Kotayk Regions
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 3 at 08:15, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the Republic of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for all types of vehicles, and closed for trucks with trailers. The Sotk-Karvachar road is also difficult for all types of vehicles.
The Saravan-Zanger road is open for all types of vehicles, but difficult for trucks with trailers due to the presence of black ice.
Black ice is present in some places on the roads of the Shirak, Syunik, and Kotayk regions.
According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepanavank-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
