Armenian Citizen Evacuated from China to Undergo Quarantine in Kazakhstan
An Armenian citizen evacuated from China will spend 14 days in quarantine in Kazakhstan. According to a report by Armenpress, the official website of the Kazakh government has issued a statement announcing that the government organized the evacuation of 83 citizens from China. Additionally, at the request of the authorities of Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and Belarus, citizens of those countries were also evacuated.
After undergoing medical examinations, the evacuated citizens were sent to a quarantine zone, where they will remain for 14 days. During the quarantine period, they will only be in contact with medical personnel. It was noted that the relatives of the evacuated citizens have been informed about the rules in effect during the quarantine period.
On February 2, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement announcing that Susanna Aghajanyan, an Armenian citizen wishing to be evacuated from Wuhan, China, had been evacuated and transferred to Kazakhstan. “We inform you that on February 2, with the cooperation of our partners in Kazakhstan, Susanna Aghajanyan, an Armenian citizen wishing to be evacuated from Wuhan, China, was evacuated and transferred to Kazakhstan. The Armenian embassy is in constant contact with our citizen, and efforts are being made to return her home as soon as possible. We sincerely thank our partners in Kazakhstan for their prompt response to Armenia's request and for their support,” stated the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
