Constitutional Court Not Functioning Fully After 2015 Reforms, Makunts
The ruling 'My Step' alliance parliamentary faction sees an issue in the fact that the Constitutional Court has not been functioning fully since the constitutional reforms of 2015. This was stated by the leader of the 'My Step' parliamentary faction, Lilith Makunts, during the traditional parliamentary briefing at the National Assembly of Armenia on January 29.
According to her, the transitional provisions that were supposed to facilitate a smooth transition from the previous version of the Constitution to the new one have shortcomings. 'This, along with the crisis of trust, is the main issue of the Constitutional Court,' said Makunts.
