Photos: Major Accident and Fire in Shirak Province, Car Reduced to Ashes, Injuries Reported
A major car accident and fire occurred today, January 28, in Shirak Province. Around 15:50, in the administrative territory of Shirak village, near the cemetery, an Opel with license plate 36 RN 949 collided with a Nissan X-Trail with transit license plate 0047.119.IE.
According to Shamshyan.com, following the collision, a fire broke out in the Opel, and five individuals were taken to the Gyumri Medical Center with varying degrees of injuries.
Rescuers extinguished the fire in the Opel; however, it was completely consumed and reduced to ashes, while the Nissan was left as a pile of twisted metal. The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured.
