VIDEO: Individuals with 'Criminal Subculture' Profile Detained

In the context of combating criminal behaviors, another special operation was carried out on January 22 in the Shirak region. Officers from the Main Department of Criminal Police, Shirak Regional Department, and subordinate units detained individuals with suspected ties to criminal subculture in the Kumayri, Mushti, Artik, Achuynan, Amasia, and Ani police departments based on operational information.

Personal searches and vehicle inspections were conducted. Knives, various substances resembling drugs, psychoactive pills, and other items were discovered and confiscated. Expert examinations have been appointed.

During the special operation, a case of personal property theft was revealed, and a voluntary surrender of an illegally held firearm and ammunition was recorded at the Kumayri department of the police in Gyumri.

The police's activities aimed at ensuring public safety are ongoing daily. Individuals with ties to criminal subculture will remain under the operational surveillance of the police in the name of public safety.
