VIDEO: A Citizen Found with a Makarov Pistol and Drugs
On January 23, officers from the Ararat division of the police discovered and, based on credible suspicion, detained a 24-year-old resident of Nor Ughi village in the village of Taperakan. During a search of the vehicle, a factory-numbered Makarov pistol was found, along with a packet containing a greenish substance resembling marijuana, weighing over 5 grams. According to the detainee, the greenish substance is a narcotic.
The young man made no statement regarding the pistol. Forensic and chemical examinations have been assigned. A criminal case has been initiated, and the detainee has been arrested.
