The Elite Should Be Deprived of the Right to Share Party Photos: Hakob Badalyan
Political commentator Hakob Badalyan wrote on his Facebook page: “By touching upon the issue of restrooms in restaurants or cafes, the Prime Minister was certainly addressing questions of public culture and thinking, albeit in good or unfortunate formulations. Within this framework, perhaps it’s time to discuss the prohibition of images from parties of the ruling elite’s party or corporate events, again in the context of thought. Everyone certainly has the right to celebrate, but the elite should be deprived of the right to share party photos, because these images do not represent any public or state value, especially at a time when there is a significant portion of the public with a basic bread problem in the country. In the case of a public official, the agenda dictated by public and state life should prevail, rather than personal or group interests.”
