‘My Step’ Foundation to Launch a New Program This Year: Anna Hakobyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's wife, Anna Hakobyan, has announced on her Facebook page that the ‘My Step’ Foundation will launch a new program this year titled ‘Promoting Healthy Lifestyles in Public Schools.’
To this end, the Foundation’s Executive Director, Hovhannes Ghazaryan, has invited Matthew Flisock, the Executive Director of UCLA Health's ‘Sound Body Sound Mind’ program, to Yerevan. This initiative, which has been operating in the United States for some time, aims to promote healthy lifestyles in schools by providing modern fitness courses to students and teachers, as well as supporting schools with appropriate equipment.
Matthew Flisock is in Yerevan as a consultant for the program, sharing his experience and knowledge with us, and familiarizing himself with the condition of Armenian schools and educational standards. Our upcoming meetings and discussions, filled with bold ideas and proposals, will provide more details about the ‘Promoting Healthy Lifestyles in Public Schools’ program.
