The Number of Casualties in the Army Has Reached a Historic Minimum, Tonoyan Confirms
The law enforcement system will undoubtedly clarify how it all happened. This was stated by the Armenian Minister of Defense David Tonoyan during a conversation with journalists today, speaking about the case of deceased serviceman Arthur Ajamyan.
Tonoyan confirmed the Prime Minister's statement that the number of casualties in the army last year has reached a minimum. According to him, any opposing view is a consequence of issues in statistical data and calculation systems.
In response to the opinion that casualties in the army mainly result from interpersonal relations, the minister stated that through strengthening discipline and improving the education of the officer corps, we will achieve everything.
