Court Session on Robert Kocharyan and Others' Case Postponed
The court session regarding the case of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan and other former officials has been postponed until January 21 at 13:00.
The session was delayed due to the absence of attorney Mihran Poghosyan, who represents Yuri Khachaturov. It should be noted that Mihran Poghosyan did not attend today's session, having previously notified presiding judge Anna Danibekyan about his absence.
In his request, he mentioned that the court ignores offensive remarks and threats directed at the defense during the proceedings and demonstrates discriminatory attitudes towards participants in the trial.
Judge Anna Danibekyan stated that the court reviewed the recording of the previous session and found that no threats were made against the defense. It is worth recalling that the remark made by Seyran Ohanyan's attorney regarding “some events of March 1” provoked indignation from the injured party during the last session.
