Black Ice and Fog on Sisian-Goris-Kapan Roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that as of January 11 at 23:30, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats mountain pass is closed for heavy vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to navigate for heavy transportation.
There are spots of black ice on the Sisian-Goris and Goris-Kapan roads. In the city of Goris, Syunik province, there is fog present.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia’s North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of transportation.
