9-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized After Firecracker Explosion in Hand

On January 7, an emergency incident occurred in Shirak Province. At approximately 21:40, a report was received by the Ashtarak police department from the "Mother Narek" hospital indicating that a child with trauma to the left side of her upper and lower lips, along with bleeding and a laceration, had been admitted.

According to shamshyan.com, the operational group of the Ashtarak police department, led by the operative officer of the criminal investigation division, Sukiasyan, was dispatched to the hospital.

While the doctors were providing medical assistance, the police discovered that the injured child was 9-year-old Tehmine N., who was brought to the hospital from the village of Kakavasar. She sustained her injuries around 21:00 when a firecracker exploded in her hand and struck her face.

The police investigation department of the Ashtarak police is currently preparing materials regarding the incident.
