Photos: "Friends, I'm feeling great". BMW-X5 driver involved in accident, injuries reported
Today, December 28, a serious traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 21:00, the driver of a BMW-X5 with license plate 02 AA 013 lost control on Tsitsernakaberd highway, collided with a basalt curb, and then broke a section of a concrete retaining wall before crashing into an iron electrical pole approximately 5 meters ahead.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reporting from the scene, two individuals were transported to the hospital for medical assistance as a result of the accident. Officers from the Yerevan Road Police arrived promptly at the site.
The photojournalist also reports that the driver was subjected to sobriety testing at the scene, which revealed that he was inebriated at a high level. He admitted at the scene that he was not sober, stating, "Friends, I have nothing to say, I’m feeling great. I was drinking, we were having fun at the venue."
