The Head of the National Assembly Staff Has Saved Around 585 Million Dram: Mirzoyan

The head of the National Assembly staff has managed to save around 585 million dram. This was reported today, December 27, by the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, on his Facebook page.

In his post, he stated, “Due to the improvement of management efficiency, the NA staff has managed to save around 585 million dram in 2019, including:

• around 83 million dram on transportation expenses,
• around 69 million dram on energy, utility, and communication services,
• around 49 million dram on office, household, and other product expenses,
• around 35 million dram on representational expenses,
• around 290 million dram on foreign business trip expenses.

Note: I am very curious whether this post will receive the same attention as the event organized by the National Assembly during Vardavar, when the NA spent 5 million dram trying to include a display of Armenian carpets and carpet-making (also with the aspect of washing used carpets) to make the celebration more attractive for Armenians and tourists alike.
