Charges Filed Against Hrayr Tovmasyan: Ruben Melikyan
As previously reported, the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, has been summoned by the Special Investigative Service (SIS) for questioning.
Currently, Tovmasyan is being interrogated, while a group of individuals has gathered outside the Constitutional Court to support him.
Recently, human rights defender Ruben Melikyan mentioned in a conversation with reporters that, according to his information, charges have been filed against Tovmasyan. Melikyan noted that there is still no information on the specific charges.
ArmDaily.am attempted to confirm this information with SIS spokesperson Marina Ohanyan, but she stated that she could not comment at this time. When asked to confirm the news regarding the charge being filed, Ohanyan said, 'I do not have any information at the moment, I may be able to provide something later.'
