Customs Committee Proposes Alternative to Avoid Border Delays

The State Revenue Committee urges individuals transporting goods from Turkey to Armenia in passenger buses or freight trucks to use the Northern Customs Office's Bavra customs point, which has the necessary capacity for customs clearance.

Considering the increased influx of passengers and their luggage arriving in Armenia from third countries during the pre-holiday period, as well as the limited capacity of the Eastern Customs Office's Gogavan border crossing, the State Revenue Committee cannot guarantee the swift execution of customs operations related to customs control at the Gogavan border crossing.
