Robert Kocharian Discharged from Hospital

Key defendant in the March 1 case, Robert Kocharian, was discharged from the Izmirlian Medical Center this morning. This was reported by Armen Charchyan, the executive director of the medical center, in a conversation with Armenian Time.

According to the doctor, the results of a recent examination were received last night. Kocharian's condition was reported to be normal, and he felt well.

It is reminded that Kocharian was transferred from the Yerevan Central Penitentiary to the hospital on December 11. His press secretary had promised to clarify whether Kocharian underwent a new surgery or was simply undergoing examination. “I am not sure there was a new surgery; I need to find out more. I assume there was, but I need to clarify further. We will provide additional information on what happened,” said Viktor Soghomonyan in a conversation with reporters.
