Mass Protests Erupt in India
The Indian Parliament has adopted a bill that grants citizenship to religious minorities from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. According to TASS agency, the bill does not apply to Muslims. In this context, unrest has begun in the country, leading to mass protests.
Participants of the protests have blocked highways and railways, thrown stones at vehicles, and attacked shops.
