Driver of BMW X5 Fatally Hits Pedestrian
Today, December 7, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:00, the driver of a BMW X5 with license plate 88 OQ 888 struck a 50-55 year old man who was crossing the street at an unauthorized location near the Medical University on Koryun Street.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene, called for Yerevan's emergency services, and assisted in transporting the injured pedestrian to the hospital. However, the pedestrian did not regain consciousness and died on the way.
