Road Conditions in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia are passable.

On the 35-36 km section of the Sotk-Karvachar road in Gegharkunik Province and at the beginning of the "Tasi" bends on the Goris-Kapan road in Syunik Province, there is occasional black ice present.

There are also stacked vehicles on the Goris-Kapan road in Syunik Province.

Fog is observed in Tavush Province and in the city of Goris in Syunik Province.

Regarding Lars, based on information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

Construction work is ongoing on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratasen road, causing the section to be closed for heavy trucks. The following alternative route has been established: Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratasen.
