I Haven't Received Any Threats Due to the Bill: Badasyan
The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Rustam Badasyan, assured journalists today that he has not received any threats due to the proposed bill aimed at criminalizing affiliations with organized crime.
He refrained from naming any current "thieves in law," indicating that the law enforcement agencies are aware of all criminal figures operating in Armenia.
Badasyan noted that there is a certain level of anxiety regarding the bill in prisons, and in some ways, an artificial atmosphere of concern is being created; however, he emphasized that these are all manageable situations.
