Tunyans on Positive and Negative Statistical Reports

"Having worked in economic journalism for 12-13 years, I know very well how to present the same statistical report in both a positive light and a negative one, depending on what you want to show at that moment," stated Babken Tunyans, a member of the ruling faction, addressing the opposition MPs during budget discussions in the National Assembly. He hinted that the opposition has recently been presenting facts solely in a negative context.

Then, Tunyans presented data in a positive light, showing a graph indicating the growth of gross domestic product and budget revenues. The ruling MP mentioned that if they want to prove something with numbers, they can find many such figures.
