Winter Draft Dates Announced

The winter military and alternative service draft in Armenia will take place from November 14 to January 31, 2020, inclusive. This is outlined in a draft decision included in the agenda for the meeting on November 7.

The draft provides for the conscription of individuals who have completed mandatory military or alternative military service during the winter 2019 draft period, until January 31, 2020, inclusive, and the release of those who have completed alternative service within the established timeframe.

Additionally, a public draft commission will be established to organize the winter draft.
