On the Wine Revolution. Pashinyan on Forbes' Coverage
One of the world's most renowned and well-known economic magazines, the American Forbes, has highlighted Armenian wine, presenting it as a remarkable blend of quality and taste. The article notes that Armenian wine has a brilliant future.
“There is a land similar to rural Utah, the San Joaquin Valley of California, and South Pasadena, with Yerevan as its capital, which is modern, safe, attractive, and advanced. Modern Armenian winemakers are creating diverse and unique wines,” the article states.
It also mentions that alongside the Velvet Revolution, Armenia has experienced a Wine Revolution, as wine cafes have multiplied tenfold and 25 new wineries emerged in 2018 alone.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also referred to the article on his Facebook page, sharing it and writing, “Forbes highlights the excellent quality and bright future of Armenian wine and the Wine Revolution that has taken place in Armenia.”
