Cars Collide, Casualties Reported

On October 30, at 3:06 PM, the emergency services received a report of a traffic accident near the village of Vedi in the Ararat region, indicating that there were casualties and a gas leak, necessitating the assistance of rescue workers.

A firefighting rescue team from the regional emergency department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles, a "Mazda 8" (driver: Norair S., born in 1989) and a "KamAZ" (driver: Arthur K., born in 1984), collided on the 39th km of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway. As a result of the collision, the spare tire of the "KamAZ" came off and damaged a parked VAZ-2101 vehicle (driver: Artash A.) on the roadside.

The rescue workers extricated Norair S. from the "Mazda 8," and he was hospitalized at the Artashat Medical Center. Doctors have assessed the injured person's condition as satisfactory.
