Investigation Launched into Claims of Coercion against Karen Ghazaryan to Testify against Vanetsyan
An internal investigation has been launched regarding the forcible transportation of Karen Ghazaryan to the police and the use of excessive force against him, as ordered by the Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan.
This information was provided to ArmDaily.am by the police department. It is noteworthy that yesterday morning, Hraparak.am reported that police officers had forcibly taken Ghazaryan, one of the workers from the flower market near the Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium, to the sixth department without explanation and attempted to extract testimony against former NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan through physical violence. It later emerged that a total of five individuals had been detained, all of whom had experienced physical abuse and bodily injuries.
