Martuni Police Discover Illegally Held Drugs (Video)

On October 1, at 19:40, the criminal investigation department of the Martuni police, in an operation aimed at verifying received operational information, detained a 24-year-old individual on suspicion of holding and using drugs on the road leading to Nerkin Getashen.

During the inspection of the young man's "VAZ-2106" vehicle, he presented a paper package containing a dry substance resembling cannabis, taken from the pocket of a jacket placed in the driver's seat. He stated that he had grown the substance at home for personal use.

A forensic chemical examination has been appointed. Preparatory materials are underway.
