Rustam Badasyan Comments on News of His Appointment as NSS Director

The Minister of Justice, Rustam Badasyan, addressed journalists regarding the rumors about his possible appointment as the Director of the National Security Service (NSS). "My appointment as the NSS director is as possible as my appointment as the Minister of Finance," said Badasyan.

It is noteworthy that the former NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan was dismissed from his position on September 16. During a press conference held on the same day, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that there are several candidates for the NSS director position, and discussions are ongoing regarding possible options.
