David Tonoyan Tours Tent Camp and Reviews Living Conditions (Photos)
The large-scale strategic military exercise themed 'Expansion of the Armed Forces, Countering Enemy Aggression' continues across the territory of Armenia. Today, Defense Minister David Tonoyan visited the training area where reservists are conducting necessary training.
The minister started by touring the tent camp to familiarize himself with the living conditions. He met with the personnel, engaged in discussions with them, and addressed matters related to combat readiness and other issues. At the end of the meeting, the minister gave several assignments to the command staff.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
It should be noted that units of the Armenian police are also involved in the strategic exercise that started on September 24. In the context of the exercise, in cooperation with the command of the 2nd Army Corps, the Police Regiment No. N has been formed. The regiment’s administration, main, reserve, and support units have been established. The regiment has been equipped with weapons, military equipment, and ammunition. Plans have been updated and a plan for further actions has been developed and approved.
