Video: Emergency Vehicle and Hyundai Sonata Collide in Komitas

Today, September 24, a major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:25 AM, at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street, a collision took place between a Ford Transit vehicle with license plate 489 SU 54 and a Hyundai Sonata with license plate 36 AQ 563.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Ford Transit, registered to the medical center of Sisian in Syunik Province, veered into the oncoming traffic lane. A rapid response team from Yerevan's 1-03 Emergency Medical Services arrived promptly at the accident scene to provide assistance to the injured, one of whom was transported to the hospital.

Shamshyan reports that when the insurance agent requested the documents from the emergency vehicle's driver, the driver claimed that his driver's license and vehicle registration documents were not with him and remained in Sisian.
