Mercedes Crashes into Tree, Injuries Reported; Wooden Bat Found in Vehicle

On September 23, a serious car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 22:30, the driver of a Mercedes with license plate 36 CN 432 lost control while driving on Halabyan Street and crashed into a tree under unclear circumstances.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers were rescued from the vehicle by bystanders. Paramedics from several brigades of the Yerevan 1-03 emergency assistance service arrived promptly at the scene to provide first aid and subsequently transported the injured to hospitals.

Rescue workers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply and cordoned off the area. The police are currently investigating the identities of the driver and the injured.

The photojournalist reported that the vehicle is registered under the name of a resident from Davitashen 4 neighborhood, S.K. Additionally, a wooden bat (bita) was found in the automobile.
