1 kg of Gold Found in Luggage of Armenian Citizen at Tbilisi Airport
Employees of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia discovered undeclared gold and silver items in the luggage of an Armenian citizen at the checkpoint of Tbilisi International Airport, reports newsgeorgia.ge.
According to the agency's clarification, this includes 1.1 kilograms of gold and over 73.3 grams of silver jewelry. The total value of the contraband items is approximately 154,000 lari (around 54,000 US dollars).
The case has been transferred to the investigative service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
