Our Independence is Our Identity: On the occasion of the independence holiday, Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, shared a photograph on her Facebook page and extended her greetings.

Dear compatriots, I warmly congratulate you on September 21, our state’s Independence Day. 28 years ago, the Armenian people united to fulfill the age-old dream of our ancestors, and through a referendum, we chose the difficult yet honorable path of building a free, independent, and democratic state.

Today, 28 years later, we find ourselves in a historic period where we have a unique opportunity to make our homeland better, to create more prosperous living conditions for our citizens, and to be more powerful, safer, and more democratic. Each of us must work towards the construction of New Armenia, the Armenia we dream of, for the sake of our country, our people, our children, and their future.
