Ahead of Pashinyan's Visit to the US, Azerbaijani Propaganda Material Surfaces in Armenian Media

A number of Armenian media outlets, citing the Jewish Journal, have reported that there are calls in Los Angeles to cancel Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's speech at Grand Park. This information was stated in a publication by the Information Verification Center.

As is known, on September 22, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is set to travel to the United States for a working visit where, apart from several official meetings, he will also participate in a rally planned in Los Angeles and deliver a speech.

The article posted in the blog section of the Jewish magazine mentions that since gaining independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, Armenia has consistently pursued a foreign policy against the United States, and there are calls to annul the planned rally and the Prime Minister's speech.

Notably, the author of the aforementioned article is Milikh Evdaev, the head of the “Mountain Jews Religious Community” of Azerbaijan. Evdaev was born in the village of Qırmızı Qəsəbə in Azerbaijan, graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Technology in 1971, and has worked in the public sector for many years. He is known for his anti-Armenian propaganda activities (articles, conferences, speeches, etc.). In 2015, Evdaev was awarded a commendation from the President of Azerbaijan, and in 2018, he was granted a nominal pension by Ilham Aliyev's decree.

It is also noteworthy that the Consulate of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles is involved in the dissemination of this article. Consul Nasimi Agayev has shared the article on his Facebook page, adding, “Los Angeles should not honor a country that glorifies its Nazi generals.”

Two days after the publication of the article, it began to be disseminated by Armenian media under the title “Calls in Los Angeles to Cancel Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Speech at Grand Park.”
