Russia Will Assist Saudi Arabia If They Purchase Russian Weapons: Putin

Russia is ready to assist Saudi Arabia in protecting the country if its leadership decides to acquire Russian weapons. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by tass.ru.

“The Quran speaks about the unacceptability of any form of violence, emphasizing only defense. We are ready to provide Saudi Arabia with the necessary assistance to protect its nation and territory. The political leadership of Saudi Arabia can make a wise state decision, just as their Iranian counterparts did in their time by acquiring the S-300, and Erdoğan did by purchasing the latest S-400 systems from Russia, which reliably protect any infrastructure of Saudi Arabia,” said Putin.

Earlier, the United States announced that it is prepared to take measures against those responsible for attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities.
