VIDEO: I Will Personally Leave Everything Behind and Go to Amulsar – Haik Barseghyan

Amulsar belongs to every Armenian, and we must leave our work and go to Amulsar to continue to block the area of the mine. This statement was made by Haik Barseghyan, a member of the SOS initiative and an activist, during a Facebook live broadcast.

He called for gathering funds to provide food and warm clothing for citizens defending Amulsar during the winter.

“If until now the people of Jermuk have defended the area of Amulsar, from now on it will be our responsibility to protect it. I will personally leave everything behind and go to Amulsar. Let the police prepare for battle, be ready to be in the neighborhoods from morning till night,” he stated, urging Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to terminate contracts with the 'Lydian' company and consider the opinions of the people.

It should be noted that today, during a live broadcast, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called on the residents of Jermuk to open the roads to Amulsar, noting that there is no legal basis to prohibit the operation of the mine.
