Threats Received to Praise Minister, Says Gevorg Grigoryan

Gevorg Grigoryan, the president of the Armenian Association of Young Doctors and urologist, shares on his Facebook page:

“Since the morning, directors of healthcare centers, particularly those under state subordination, have been alerting that they are receiving calls and threats from the minister's inner circle, warning that if they do not publicly praise the minister on Facebook and in the media, they will lose the 'minister's goodwill.' This implies that there will be 'inspections' and a redistribution of state resources, resulting in reduced funding... It is shameful. The law enforcement agencies should address these matters. This is an abuse of official position. I urge the directors of healthcare centers to speak out about this issue, not for my sake, but at least to the media: #coward.”
