Tyom Hakobyan Secures Final 9th Place at New Wave

Singer Tyom Hakobyan secured 9th place in the "New Wave 2019" competition for young performers.

On August 28, he performed the song "Give Me Your Love" by Nik Egibyan and Anna Harutyunyan, earning 80 points. In total, he finished 9th with 230 points.

The winner was Albania's representative Inis Neziri, who was the clear leader throughout all three contest days, accumulating 281 points. The second place went to the Russian group 'Davinchi' with 269 points, while Cuba's representative Iliana Sanchez rounded out the top three with 259 points.

Tyom still has a chance to achieve success in the stylish participant category. Voting is still ongoing, and the Armenian participant is among the frontrunners with approximately 9,100 votes. Currently, the leader is Ukraine's representative Taras with around 9,600 votes. You can participate in the voting here.

The "New Wave 2019" competition is being held in Sochi, having started on August 24 and concluding today. The winners will be announced today. The concert program will feature stars from the Russian show business, including Sofia Rotaru, Oleg Gazmanov, Philip Kirkorov, Angelika Varum, Leonid Agutin, Irina Allegrova, and the group 'Otpetye Mosheniki', among others.
