Police Entered Seyran Saroyan's Home and Detained Those Present
The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports that on August 18, the police carried out a special operation at the home of former National Assembly member and general Seyran Saroyan in Ejmiadzin.
The police had information that a "razborka" was taking place in Saroyan's apartment, where participants were involved in a dispute related to money. Police detained those gathered at Saroyan's house.
According to one version, Saroyan was not at home, while another version suggests that he managed to escape through a rear entrance.
Residents of Ejmiadzin welcome the police actions, as Saroyan has been known for decades as someone who receives money through criminal means.
