Pobeda Airline Aircraft Touches Down on Runway at Shirak Airport
On August 19 at approximately 21:04, a aircraft from Pobeda Airlines made contact with the runway at Gyumri’s Shirak Airport with its rear while landing, resulting in damage to the tail section. This was reported by the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee.
According to the committee, there were 173 passengers on board the aircraft. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident. In order to clarify the circumstances surrounding the event, a commission will be established. The next flight will be operated using a backup aircraft from Pobeda Airlines, as informed by the committee.
