Don Pippo's Foundation Director Cashed Funds and Tried to Flee the Country
The newspaper «Hraparak» reports that in Ejmiatsin, there are rumors that the director of Don Pippo's "Arthur Asatryan" foundation cashed the foundation's money and attempted to flee the country, but was unable to do so. Arthur Asatryan caught him, stating, 'You played and got involved; you should have told me—I would have given you some and you could have kept quiet.'
Notably, the director of the foundation is the husband of Pippo's wife's sister and the son of the former head of the cadastre in Ejmiatsin. The familial connection seems to be the reason why Don Pippo has not sought retribution against the deceiver.
Moreover, the latter is quite a reckless individual; years ago, according to residents of Ejmiatsin, he allegedly orchestrated his own kidnapping and demanded $1 million from his father.
As for the "Arthur Asatryan" foundation, it was established after the revolution and has renovated the emergency room of a hospital in Ejmiatsin, as well as several schools and a children's playground. Currently, work on the 7th school is underway, but it has slowed down, which turns out to be due to the disappearance of funds.
