Armed Man Takes Hostages on Bus in Rio de Janeiro

An armed man has seized a bus full of passengers in Rio de Janeiro, with the exact number of hostages currently unknown. The incident occurred today on the Rio Niterói Bridge.

Preliminary information suggests that the hijacker is posing as a military police officer. He has demanded that the bus driver stop the vehicle and has threatened to douse the bus in gasoline.
