Car Plunges into Ravine in Gegharkunik Region; Casualties Reported

On August 13, a traffic accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. According to Shamshyan.com, around 10:00 AM, Vasyl Kh., a 29-year-old resident of the village of Draxytik in Gegharkunik, lost control of his VAZ 2105 vehicle with the license plate 36 DV 368. The car collided with a metal barrier located on the left side of the road and ended up in a ravine.

As a result of the accident, the passengers of the vehicle—fellow villagers of the driver—30-year-old Anush B., 3-year-old Siranush H., 2-month-old Boris H., and 59-year-old Silva Kh. sustained various injuries and were transported to the Sevan Medical Center.

Materials are being prepared concerning the incident.
