Azerbaijan Spreads Another Information Trap: Artzrun Hovhannisyan

The spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artzrun Hovhannisyan, addressed the information circulated by Azerbaijani media regarding advancements on the front line.

Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: “The Azerbaijani border service has spread yet another information trap by presenting the repositioning of combat positions within its territory as an exclusive achievement. Unfortunately, this is immediately reacted to in the Armenian information space.

Let me remind you again that changes in positions on the front line are a constant occurrence. However, unlike Azerbaijan, the Armenian side usually does not give public prominence to these movements as our goal in carrying out combat duty is not to advertise every action regardless of its appropriateness, but to maintain tactical superiority over the adversary and keep them under control.

Nevertheless, if the Azerbaijani side continues in this manner, then they can expect surprises as a result of the professionally executed operations of the Armenian Armed Forces, showcasing the operational-strategic advantages gained.

The soldiers know their job well, and I ask that they not be interfered with in fulfilling their duties.”
