Russian Priest Injures 1-Year-Old During Baptism

A Russian priest has injured a 1-year-old child during a baptism. This was reported by РИА Новости, which published a corresponding video.

The incident took place at the Marienburg Church in the town of Gatchina, Leningrad Region. The footage shows the priest, using force, submerging the screaming child into the water. Furthermore, after the ceremony, he does not allow the child's mother to retrieve her child.

According to reports, the mother paid 3,500 rubles for the baptism. After the ceremony, the child was found to have scratches and bruises on their body. The woman has contacted the police. Additionally, authorities have promised to remove the priest from his position.
