Truck Rolls About 300 Meters into Gorge Near 'Devil's Bridge'

The Emergency Situations Ministry's '911' service received a call on August 11 at 10:01 AM reporting that a "KamAZ" vehicle had fallen into a gorge in the area known as 'Devil's Bridge' in the Syunik region. Assistance from rescue workers was needed.

A fire and rescue team dispatched one operational unit to the scene. According to information provided to Armenpress by the Ministry's Information and Public Relations Department, it was determined that the "KamAZ" vehicle had gone off the roadway of the Goris-Tatev highway at the 30 km mark and rolled about 300 meters down the adjacent gorge. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
